About Me
I am passionate about creating beautiful images using the best in industry standards. I've spent years developing my unique style and take pride in bringing each image to life. My goal is to tell the story of every place I photograph by combining wide-angle and detailed shots, as well as natural and flash lighting, to create a realistic and engaging experience for viewers.
For the past 20 years, my enduring passion for architecture and design has led me not only to capturing beautiful spaces but also to working extensively in the advertising world. However, after a profoundly life-changing experience during which I nearly lost my life, I made the significant decision to take a well-deserved break from the corporate side of things. Around this time, my husband retired after a commendable 26 years of dedicated service in the Marine Corps. We decided it was the perfect moment to pack up our house and embark on an exciting journey! We embraced the adventure of living full-time in our travel trailer, exploring the many hidden gems of this beautiful country for almost 18 unforgettable months. One of our primary goals during this journey was to discover a place we could finally call home. As a military family, we had always been directed on where to live, so we approached every single stop along our journey with the potential to become our cherished home.
We came to Tyler, TX, to visit my niece, and we absolutely fell in love with the charming area, so much so that we decided to never leave. After living in various different places around the country, we were eager to find a community that felt quaint and small but still large enough to offer a variety of amenities and enjoyable entertainment options. Now that we are comfortably settled into our new home, I have decided that it’s time to reenter the workforce and contribute my skills and experience to the vibrant Tyler community.
Education & Experience
My deep-seated love for photography first ignited during my high school years. There was something truly magical and almost enchanting about the process of developing film and creating stunning, beautiful prints in the confines of the darkroom. After successfully graduating from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography, I made the significant decision to relocate to Los Angeles in pursuit of gaining invaluable hands-on experience within the bustling industry. As the Assistant Manager of Pier 59 Studios West, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to train under and learn from some of the best professionals in the field. Throughout my career, I have produced and photographed numerous advertising campaigns for a diverse array of companies, including Pardee Homes, Hi-Desert Dwellings, Pacific Sotheby’s, The Cohost Company, HSBC, Swinerton Builders, and many more. Additionally, I have collaborated with various esteemed publications, such as Airbnb, Zillow, Palm Springs Life, Colorado Homes Magazine, and Cherry Creek Magazine. As technology continues to evolve, I remain committed to refining and enhancing my techniques through ongoing education and practice.
