Getting moved to the desert was one of the best things that could have ever happened to us. At the time I left San Diego kicking and screaming, little did I know I would fall in love with this beautiful baren landscape. The sunsets, the heat, the dark night skys, and of course the Joshua Trees. It wasnt a popular place at first, but LA quickly adopted it as the new desert get away and people started moving there in droves. As an architecture photographer I was lucky enough to be there during the boom. Not only did my small business explode but I was able to get involved locally and help grow the community. Althought I was busy shooting homes every now an again I was able to get out to shoot some of the stunning and unique Joshua Trees.
