Hawaii, in my opinion, is one of the most treasured places in the world and should be treated that way. The culture, the food, the beauty, it should all be protected. It truly is magical. Hanauma Bay at sunrise is something that everyone should experience. Due to years of abuse and neglect from the millions of visitors that patron the beach, it is now a protected conservation. You need to make reservations before you plan to go. They average 1400 visitors per day and do their best to educate and protect the area. 

That day we started by waking up at 4am, we hiked down and headed to the end of the beach so we were far from other visitors. All I wanted from my shoot was palm trees on the beach, and I got so much more! The sun breaking over the ocean, low hanging clouds, and of course the palm trees. It was a perfect combination for a beautiful image. Wana’ao means dawn, and I would love everyone to Welcome the Dawn on this beach.
